Is British film and TV in trouble?
University of Reading’s Dr Dominic Lees recently served as Specialist Advisor to Parliament’s inquiry into British film and television, and its new report reveals the challenges threatening the industry’s future, including AI, streaming giants squeezing out British producers and cinemas facing closure.
The report calls on the UK government to take urgent action to support British film and TV. But we can all play our part and make a difference.
