So, almost every version of Star Trek manages to include exactly one thing, no matter what… somehow, even just as a name-drop or a passing mention, and it ain’t Spock, or phasers, or even the Federation, it’s a not-so-little ship called Enterprise. Right now, Strange New Worlds is introducing a whole new generation of fans to the very first version- years before James T. Kirk ever dropped into the center seat- and it’s doing it in Star Trek’s sixtieth-anniversary year.
