One Piece has been dominating the netflix charts lately and has received great reviews from both critics and audiences. A lot of that is due to the creator of One Piece Eiichiro Oda making sure the live action remake stayed true to the source material. He recently said that a good live action remakes doesn’t need to change the source material at all. And this highlights Disney’s main problem when it comes to their remakes as they continue to change it from the source material resulting in worse audience reviews as the fans of the story feel let down. One Piece definitely sets the example for how live action remakes should be made.
