One Piece season 1 was an absolute smash hit as it broke Netflix viewership records and also received positive reviews from both the critics and audiences. However some fans have been attacking the original One Piece anime series for the way it deals with gay characters. People have called out saying that in season 2 of One Piece they need to correct these political mistakes the anime made. I am worried Netflix may give in to this backlash as usually studios feel pressured when faced with this kind of backlash no matter how small a group it is attacking the show.
