A Robin Hood remake has been made in Canada, except this time Robin Hood has been called “Robyn Hood” and changed from a white british male to a black woman. The show hasn’t opened to great reviews, with many critics saying the show is poorly written with bad performances, however the director has responded to these criticisms calling them out for racism and sexism. However if this is the case how come a movie like Spider-Man Across The Spiderverse does so well, same as Black Panther? I’m sure these bad reviews reflect the poor story more than they do the politics.
